In this episode I talk to author/ host of Dirt in Your Skirt, and Editor-in-Chief of Mud Run Guide, Margaret Schlatcher.
Margaret started out her OCR journey or odyssey as she calls it as working at a boarding school and running early Spartan Races. She was called stupid for leaving her full time job and pursuing OCR full time. Several years later, look at what she has done in OCR.
She recently started a podcast called Dirt in Your Skirt where she interviews women (Many in OCR) who are doing awesome things. You can catch Dirt in Your Skirt on iTunes, Stitcher, I Heart Radio and any other podcast app.

In todays episode we have Nickademus Hollan. Nick is known for crushing ultra marathons and is always someone to look out for at Worlds Toughest Mudder. We start the episode talking about a race that I am super interested in, which is the Barkley Marathons. You may have seen the documentary on Netflix, if you did Nick was the guy with the long hair who didn't win that year. He did go on to win the following year however. Nick is also a multi time Worlds Toughest Mudder competitor. We talk about how he went out too hard and ended up dropping out after 65 miles this year, though he was a favorite to win.
Look for a future episode with Nick where we take your running related questions and answer them on the show. The details aren't final yet, but I am excited about this one!

In todays episode we are brining you the motivation with Coach Pain. Most of you likely know coach pain from Spartan Race, BattleFrog (RIP), OCRWC or Civilian Military Combine. We talk briefly about his start line work, but really dive into his training. We talk a lot about his motivation in training, and training his clients. We also talk about how unique his workouts are and why he decides to build his workouts the way he does.
